The eleventh edition of the most influential guide to the world’s top extra virgin olive oils,\u00a0<\/span>Flos Olei <\/b><\/a>2020, has been issued. It gives us great pleasure that Istria has been awarded the title of the best olive-growing region in the world for the fifth time in a row, while Oliveri scored valuable 95 points.<\/p>\n

Listed in the new edition are 79 Croatian oils, of which as many as 77 are from Istria, one from the Krk island and one from Dalmatia. Most olive growers achieved better results compared to last year, due to the better quality gained through the application of the latest scientific and technological advances in Istrian olive growing.<\/p>\n

Each year, Flos Olei holds an international competition of top olive oil producers worldwide, and then publishes a guide promoting the 500 best-rated olive growers.[\/vc_column_text]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
